In the year one thousand eight hundred thirty two on the first day of the month of February at four o'clock in the afternoon, appearing before me Phillip Andre' ______ ______ the mayor and civil marriage registrar of the Mayorship of Dasburg in the County of Waxweiler, government district of Trier.

On the one hand Theodoer Collong, according to the provided birth certificate, age twenty eight years, born at Dasburg on the nineteenth of the month of November in the year one thousand eight hundred and three.
..... A stonemason dayworker residing in Dasburg, mature son of the earlier deceased Johann Colling, lifelong occupation of slateroofer, resident of Dasburg, died at Dasburg, from the twenty first of Novose (December)_____ in the 13th year of the French Republic and the still-living Margaretha Hoffmann of the occupation woolspinner, resident of Dasburg, who is present, and consents to the present marriage.

On the other hand, Elisabeth Schadeck, according to the provided birth certificate, twenty five years old, born in Obersgegen on the fourth of the month of January in the year one thousand eight hundred and seven, of occupation a day worker, residing in Obersgegen, mature daughter of Franz Schadeck, of occupation stonemason, residing in Obersgegen who is present, and consents to the present marriage. And of Susanna Huth, of occupation a day worker, residing at the same Obersgegen, who is present and consents to the present marriage.

And summoned me to advance the performance of the marriage which you propose, while in pursuit of the performed announcement of marriage, whereof the first Sunday of the twenty second of the month of January in the year one thousand eight hundred thirty two, at ten o'clock in the morning, number 4 of the marriage announcement register, and the twenty ninth of the month of January in the year one thousand eight hundred thirty two, at ten o'clock in the morning, No. 5 of the marriage announcement register, at Dasburg and Math, since there have been no obstacles or other objections seen to be brought forward against it.

Since there are really no objections lodged against this couple, the future married couple's parents are present. Margaretha Hoffmann, mother of groom, Franz Schadeck and Susanna Huth, both parents of the bride, because they have duly evidenced the required consent and because of the respectable proposal of marriage, and further have observed the legal form of the ceremonies like the above proceeding explains, so have I, the registrar of the Mayorship of Dasburg, after I finally read aloud word for word these ceremonially conducted documents, as the fourth chapter of the Heading of The Marriage, over the mutual rights and privileges of the couple, of the groom Theodor Colling asked, whether he would take Elisabeth Schadeck as his wife, even so have I asked the bride Elisabeth Schadeck if she would take Theodor Colling as her husband, and to which both have answered as "yes," and so have I declared the mentioned Theodor Colling and Elisabeth Schadeck to be in the state of marriage in the name of the Law from now on. Wherefore I offer the present document in 4 copies in double original,

First, Nicolaus Blasen, profession of field guard, 41 years old, resident of Preisscheid, not related to the couple.
Second Johann Colling, profession of slate roofer, age 31 years, resident of Dasburg, related to groom.
Third, Everhard Meichen, profession of day laborer, 62 years old, resident of Dasburg, not related to the couple.
Fourth, Theodor Haller, profession of a woolspinner, 23 years old, resident of Dasburg, not related to the couple, who have signed this document in testimony with the wedded couple and me, after the reading of the ceremony.
With exception of Elisabeth Schadeck, Margaretha Hoffman, Franz Schadeck and Susanna Huth, all of whom cannot write.
So done in Dasburg in the municipal house of the Mayorship of Dasburg, on the day, month and year as above.
