Withheld
Withheld, 83, died this morning at the El Dorado Manor at Trenton. She was born July 18 1891 in Saline County, Nebraska to Withheld.
Withheld was married April 21, 1915 to Louis J. Colling at Indianola and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Survivors include her husband Louis; four daughters, Lucille, Bonners Ferry, Idaho, Mildred, Doloris and Mrs. Withheld, all of McCook; five sons, Withheld, Wichita, Bernard, Onalaska, Wis., George, Folsom,PA, Donald, Scottsbluff, and Withheld, LaCrosse, Wis.; one sister, Mrs. Irene Treadway, Kearney; 36 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Two grandchildren preceded her in death.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the Carpenter Funeral Home in McCook with the funeral mass said at 11:15 am Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The Rev. Cyril Foppe O.M.I. will officiate. Interment will be in St. Catherine's Cemetery at Indianola.

Mother's Day has come and gone and perhaps some of you have remembered a special Aunt or elderly friend.
At this writing I have just returned from the Indianola Cemetery where My "Mom" was laid to rest Saturday following the funeral mass at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 11:15 A.M. with Rev. Cyril Foppe officiating. All of her nine children, Lucille, Withheld, Bernard, George, Donald, Doloris, Withheld, Withheld and I and Dad Colling were present and nineteen of her Grandchildren. We were called to El Dorado Manor at 2:00 A.M. Wednesday morning, May 7th and as the hymn goes "she was Safe in the arms of Jesus at 5:20 A.M. Pallbearer were nephews Withheld.
